April 15 was the date for the official opening of the Italian immigrants photo display in Alden library. More than 60 students and faculty came to the event to welcome the Italian Consul from Detroit, Marco Nobili, and the Vice Consul from Cleveland, Serena Scaiola. There was a question answer session with Marco Nobili, and ribbon cutting, and then the consul stamped the passports and visas of students planning on going to Italy this summer with our study abroad program and director Molly Morrison. Thank you to Annalisa Zanuso for all her hard work putting this wonderful event together. We were honored that the Provost and Dean Scanlan came by to meet the consul.
