We would like to tell you about an upcoming evening event in Gordy—


On Wednesday, November 9th from 6-9PM

the Spanish section of the Department of Modern Languages will host an event we are calling:

La toma de Gordy


The Taking of Gordy Hall is an evening of collaboration between eight Spanish and two Portuguese faculty members to showcase their students’ language learning through the arts. Performances, the visual, creative writing and podcasts all serve as paths to match creativity with learning.


The participating students are enrolled in the following classes and clubs:


• Intermediate Spanish II

• Advanced Conversation & Composition I

• Advanced Conversation and Composition II

• Spanish Civilization and Culture

• Spanish American Civilization and Culture

• Portuguese III

• Toledo Summer Program

• TangOU Club

• The Spanish Club
