The next OPI (Oral Proficiency Interview) practice sessions will be:

Wednesday, October 21 from 7-9pm in Gordy 113

Thursday, November 12 from 7-9pm in Gordy 113

The official OPI is required of all German and Spanish majors, as well as all language education majors. We recommend that you begin the practice sessions as early in your career as possible in order to understand what is expected of you in your oral skills.

During this session we will train you and the TA’s on what is involved in the interview and how to improve your results. TA’s will be trained to conduct the interview while students learn along with them. After the training session, each student will do 2 practice telephone interviews with native speakers.

Please let Dr. Partyka (partyka@ohio.edu) know if you plan to attend a session.

     Thank you,

     Dr. Partyka
